World Cup-Bound Iran Set Up Camp in Mexico

Iran’s national team departed Türkiye for Mexico on Saturday as preparations for the FIFA World Cup entered their final phase.

Team Melli, which had been training in Antalya for nearly three weeks, will use Tijuana as its base throughout the tournament, according to Iranian state media.

The squad’s departure came amid visa-related concerns after several members of the support staff reportedly faced delays in obtaining travel documents. However, players received their US visas shortly before leaving for Mexico, clearing the way for their World Cup journey.
