Sardar Azmoun Leads Shabab Al Ahli Past Al Ittihad in AFC Champions League Elite

Shabab Al Ahli claimed a notable 2-1 away victory against Saudi Arabia’s Al Ittihad Club during Matchday 2 of the AFC Champions League Elite 2026/27 on Tuesday. Played at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, the fixture saw forward Sardar Azmoun score twice to propel the UAE side to a perfect six points after two matches.

For Al Ittihad, the defeat leaves them searching for their first win of the campaign following an opening-match draw against Qatar’s Al Shamal SC last month.
