Al-Ittihad Thrash Al-Jazira 4-0 to Reach AFC Champions League Group Stage

Al-Ittihad secured their place in the AFC Champions League group stage with a commanding 4-1 victory over Al-Jazira in the preliminary round on Tuesday.

The Saudi side took control of the contest and produced an impressive attacking display to seal qualification. Steven Bergwijn led the way with two goals, while Houssem Aouar and Marwan Al-Sahafi also found the net.

Brazilian forward Vinicius Melo scored Al-Jazira’s only goal, but it was not enough to prevent Al-Ittihad from completing a comfortable 4-1 win and booking their place in the group stage.
