Indonesia Ease Past Timor-Leste 3-0 in Group A
Indonesia maintained their perfect start to the ASEAN Hyundai Cup™ 2026 with a 3-0 victory over 10-man Timor-Leste in Group A action in Chonburi on Friday.
Timor-Leste were reduced to 10 players in the 21st minute after Jackson Fowler received a second yellow card, but Zé Pedro’s side defended resolutely and kept Indonesia at bay for much of the match.
The breakthrough finally arrived in the 74th minute when Shane Pattynama finished calmly to put Indonesia ahead. Thom Haye then doubled the lead with a superb free kick before Mitch Baker sealed the win in the 81st minute, converting Ragnar Oratmangoen’s low cross from close range.
The victory lifted Indonesia to six points from two matches, while Timor-Leste remained without a point after three Group A fixtures.
