South Korea Begin World Cup Preparations in Mexico
The South Korean men’s national team arrived at its FIFA World Cup base camp in Guadalajara, Mexico, on Friday, less than a week before opening its group-stage campaign.
Led by head coach Hong Myung-bo, the squad checked into its team hotel in the afternoon and received a warm welcome from dozens of supporters.
Fans and local residents had gathered outside the hotel well before the team’s arrival, while others watched from nearby vantage points, creating an enthusiastic atmosphere as South Korea began its final preparations for the tournament.
